Gov't spending from the begining of time should have been looked at and it was. That was the general accoutning office?
It's the way they are cutting the spending right now that is not sustainable either.
The admin. wants to rule in everything. It's not only spending, It is attacking medical journals like JAMA and medical studies, science, etc. Attacking free speech. On and on to an authoritarian state. Talk about too much government. You've got it right there.

Maybe we should try to get budgets back to more inline with BEFORE we went crazy spending during Covid? Continuing to grow government every year is unsustainable.

The proposed Trump budget is brutal, unless you’re the military or Homeland Security.
Here’s what gets cut:
- State Department: -84%
- National Science Foundation: -56%
- EPA: -54%
- HUD (housing): -44%
- Labor: -35%
- Interior: -30%
- Health & Human Services: -26%
- NASA: -24%
- Education: -15%
And here’s what gets a boost:
- Defense: +13% ($113 billion more)
- Homeland Security: +65% (+$42 billion)
Everything from science, housing, health, and the environment slashed, while the military-industrial complex cashes in.

Ken must not go to the Nat'l Parks. All the same he is happy with what is happening. Too bad about Head Start too. Oh, and to be empathetic, or toxic empathetic, what mor*n made that up? It is all so very Christian, don't you think?
