My Dad passed on. I sill cry though I am not hopeless. I will be quiet in thought. To him, my Dad, I praise that in his toughness he has helped to turn my evil ways and have the holy spirit reside with my not so holy presence. My dad is now with my ancestor's angelness to form to keep the hopes of a kinder gentler world to pass on to the younger once we love for all the innocence of righteousness.

Grant GILBERT Obituary
Dr Grant Orion Gilbert passed away peacefully holding the hand of his childhood friend and wife of 58 years on February 4th, one week before his 78th birthday. He is survived by his wife Donna, daughter Trinette, and sons, Garrett, Tristan, Nathaniel, Joshua, and Tobin. Also, his 4 daughters-in-law, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Grant believed in hard work, acquiring his PHD while working full time and raising 6 children. After retiring from Lakeland Village, he went to work for DSHS testing children. He often combined work and play while testing in Ocean Shores. He enjoyed bar-b-ques, fishing, clamming, crabbing, and hunting with family and friends. Despite having a private office, he preferred working in the living room surrounded by family and pets. He will be greatly missed by his family, church, community, and profession.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St John's Lutheran Church, in Medical Lake, on March 23rd, at 11:00 am.
