This is a pretty close example to what I bought:

The biggest difference is an AMD Ryzen CPU and more USB Ports, including a USB C port.

I am playing around with low-cost Mini PCs.
Like this little guy here:

Which for about $250 gives me 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD and all of the usual peripherals. I stick Ubuntu Linux on it (more on that below) and install some extra software and I'm able to run modest-sized AI LLMs on it at speeds that make them plausibly useful.
That little guy costs about $250 at Amazon (I got a model that is now discontinued for $209).
Beefier ones with faster memory, more memory, and a fancier CPU can cost more, up to about $2500. All in the same tiny case.
I'm thinking of building custom turnkey systems around these that could serve as personal AI servers for home or business. Probably I'd start the asking prices somewhere between $500 and $1000 depending on options and configuration.
