No way of tracking if I just look for 'wildlife case'. There needs to be a name and a court case or at least an article somewhere. Where was this?

Re: Judical Justice???
Info all available via court clerk or records
Wildlife case
No idea why they did not admit videos 1 atty consulted said with the videos a HS freshman could get a conviction
Even if not given Jail time the fine wasn't even a slap on the wrist the person committing the crime probably spends more than that on foofoo coffee in a month

What is the case # or name?
What was the reason given for not admitting the videos?
A year in jail is nothing to sneeze at, and there's a whole lot missing from your story.

Judical Justice???
Had a case go before the Okanogan County District Court of a person knowingly and repeated violating RCW 77.15.210 Obstructing the taking of fish, shellfish and wildlife, a Gross Misdeanor punishable by a fine of up to $5000.00 and / or up to 364 days in Jail.
The person committing the crime was captured on video, more than once, clearly showing them committing the crime and the videos were turned over to the authorites.
Day in court comes and low and behold videos not introduced as evidence. The defendent is given a 1 year SOC (Statement Of Continuance) and a $275.00 fine.
Some would say justice was served, however the victim of the crime is out nearly ten times that amount in damages and expenses and gets squat for compensation or satisfaction for doing the right thing of turning it over to authorities.
The handling and outcome of this case makes one wonder who got the bigger payday? The prosecutor's office for not prosecuting for a conviction or even entering the videos into evidence, or the judge for his price of a cup of coffee fine.
After judgements like this It definitely proves that with enough money you can buy your way out of anything. It removes all doubt that there are two sets of rules, one for the average person and one for those with money.
