Unfortunately, Ray….it does, in fact, get worse.
Nothing ‘cartoonish’ intended…

Re: Political Cartoons...
Several years old, but still oh, so true! How Scotland views cheeto-face…..after his antics there to get his failing golf course built.
I’ve spent quite a lot of time in Scotland. Only the Scots can swear with such verve…. such creative, multi-syllabic, combination of curses and expressions! They own cursing, hands down!
Warning - if you are offended by expletives of the highest order - don’t watch.

The ‘2 finger salute’ in Scotland is the equivalent of a middle finger to us here. It literally means ‘come a little closer you english pr*ck….…you’ll then be in the range of my bow and arrow’. It has been used for centuries.
Some years ago - I held up 2 fingers in a pub in Edinburgh to get a couple more beers….and nearly got thrown out by the bartender!

Re: Political Cartoons...
Did you know….?
The word “trumpery” appeared in the 15th century with the meanings “deceit” or “fraud”.
100 years later, it was being applied to objects of no value.
Then in the 1900’s, it came to mean “showy but worthless”.
Today, it is equated with “treasonous shitweasel”.
