Re: So who's using the autopen now? 60 Minutes
Such a desperate complicated "gotcha" rant. You sad confused haters really don't know what to fight, how to fight it and don't even know what values you stand for! Maybe you should just leave this country and all it's citizens you hate so much? Go where it's so much better run and the people think like you.

I dream of a day when everyone who ever touched crypto is devoured by predators.

Not just the Trump family, but their orbit has been raking it in.

I suspect when the crypto markets badly crash the whole World Liberty Financial thing is going to be a very bad look for the Trump family.
Best estimates they (the Trump family) have been raking in a billion dollars a month since January 2025.

So who's using the autopen now? 60 Minutes
Glee Violette:
"No, you did NOT see the "FULL UNEDITED" Trump interview on 60 minutes - his temper tantrum over a question about his corruption was cut out of both the aired program and the "extended" version that he released.
60 minutes also edited out the part where he boasted about "actually 60 Minutes paid me a lotta money. And you don’t have to put this on, because I don’t wanna embarrass you,“ he said. So they cut THAT out, too.
In fact, the interview was pretty much ALL about money. Things in America are going VERY well for him and his families, both his biological family and his "very legitimate business" family, too.
You know, "family". Like the wise guys currently holding SNAP families hostage so that Democrats will sacrifice the Medicaid and Obamacare families to their tender mercies instead.
Fine upstanding citizens, the Trump families.
Host Nora O'Donnell mentioned the fact that Trump's sons, Eric and Don Jr, are more invested in cryptocurrency than real estate these days, partnering with the Witkoff family in their new business, World Liberty Financial.
(Yes, THAT Witkoff family. Steve Witkoff is Trump's golf buddy who acts as his personal private off-the-record go-between with Putin.)
"So," O'Donnell asked, "Why did you pardon Changpeng Zhao?"
Trump responded, "Are you ready? I don’t know who he is".
O'Donnell reminded him. "His crypto exchange, Binance, helped facilitate a $2 billion purchase of World Liberty Financial’s stablecoin. And then you pardoned him."
Trump shrugged that off. "Here’s the thing," he said. "I know nothing about it."
HOLD THE HORSES. SHUT THE DOOR. WHAT??????
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Trump has been going NUTS claiming that BIDEN knew nothing about the pardons he signed. He has started a formal DOJ investigation into whether an autopen was used by others without Biden's authorization or knowledge. Trump wants to "prove" that EVERYTHING Biden signed was illegitimate, so that means that EVERYTHING Biden signed must be voided and overturned.
And here Trump is with his bare face hanging out, claiming that he knew NOTHING about either the person he pardoned, or the pardon itself???
So WHO signed the pardon? Did they use an AUTOPEN?
Well, Trump needs to march out to his "Club Rose Garden" today, and either take down the Autopen portrait that hangs in place of Biden's in his row of presidential portraits on the Colonnade, or take down his OWN two portraits and hang up Autopens in their place as well.
And he must drop his whole damned Autopen "investigation" as well. Hey Trump. By the way. Remember that "presidential immunity? thing? If you declare BIDEN's immunity null and void, you are setting YOURSELF up to have the courts void your OWN immunity. But we digress.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The upshot was that Nora O'Donnell then went on to ask a VERY unfortunate question, about this pardon, and whether Trump was concerned about "the appearance of corruption".
KATIE BAR THE DOOR. She said the magic word that unleashed the petulant beast. "EXCUSE ME" Trump exploded. "We're number one in Crypto in the WORLD. Other people WANNA be. They're fighting like hell to be. But we're number one in Crypto because I'm the president. We're number one in Crypto and that's the only thing I care about. I don't want China or anyone else to take it away. It's a massive industry."
And on and on and on he went, about how great he was, and Crypto was, and how he didn't HAVE to answer her question. So he never DID answer her question. He never addressed the fact that he pardoned a man that arranged a $2 billion dollar deal for his kids, and that it looked as shady as hell.
BTW - on a side note. Too bad about the MAGA faithful who invested in the $Melania bitcoin the day before the inauguration. That sure smells too. A lawsuit filed last month alleges the token was part of a "fraudulent scheme" and a "pump-and-dump" operation, accusing the architects of manipulating the price for their own profit. At it's highest point it was worth $13.05. It is worth 11 cents today. Again, we digress.
Bottom line, the Trump families are doing very well indeed.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
As for the REST of us, Trump said the economy has never been better. The stock market keeps breaking records. O'Donnell pointed out that not everybody invests in the stock market. "EXCUSE ME," Trump exploded, "401Ks!"
Nora O'Donnell did NOT point out to Trump that not everybody has a 401K. In fact, most people do not have 401Ks. Especially the people who work minimum wage jobs, or are contracted or hourly workers, or are agricultural workers or remote workers, or small business owners or artisans - a vast number of people who live paycheck to paycheck. Hard working, taxpaying people, who need benefits like SNAP and the ACA and Medicaid just to survive.
But Trump had nothing to say about THEM. He assumes that everybody who benefits from programs initiated by the Democrat party ARE Democrats, and probably minorities, and they can all go to hell. He has said out loud that he intends to destroy all these "Democrat" programs for this very purpose.
He insists that gas prices and grocery prices have never been lower, and that he has wiped out inflation.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
And he says that ICE raids "haven't gone far enough."
Trump claimed in his 60 Minutes interview that he's bringing car manufacturing "back to America".
Nope. Not Ford. Or Chevy. Not AMERICAN CARS. FOREIGN cars. Yes, they will provide jobs to Americans, but not profits to American businesses.
He crowed that he just got huge commitments from South Korea and Japan to build even more plants.
But here's the thing. Those ICE raids that have not gone "far enough"?
South Korea is having a hell of a time convincing its companies to build and invest in America after the hundreds of workers at that Georgia plant were arrested, assaulted, and imprisoned. Their hands were chained at their waists and they were not even unchained to eat or drink - they had to eat like dogs, they said, an ultimate, DELIBERATE humiliation.
And at the time, Trump was just FINE with their arrests, and mocked them for being here "illegally". They weren't here illegally. He never bothered to check. ICE never bothered to check either.
So South Korean companies are wary to return, or even to continue the projects already going on.
And even though Japan's new leader promised huge investments from Japanese companies, Toyota and Nissan, which Trump is bragging about, have NOT "explicitly" committed to building anything at all.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
But that's OK. Trump says we will own the rare mineral markets "in about two years" and that America will be great again and we will all be rich.
HE will be rich, anyway. And his biological family. And his other "very legitimate" business family will too.
So will CBS. The 60 Minutes softball interview was the obligation CBS needed, to pay him off completely. CBS is now owned by the son of a huge Trump donor, and its morning and evening news anchors are apparently all in the process of being replaced with former FOX celebrities.
Sad job of bringing the 50+ year legacy of 60 Minutes to a close, Nora O'Donnell. I hope you will be allowed to become a journalist again someday, at some new gig elsewhere.
O'Donnell did not interview Trump at the CBS studios BTW, but at Mar-a-Lago, on Friday, Halloween, right before his lavish Gatsby party. A party to celebrate the excesses of the very rich, the night before Trump and his very legitimate GOP Congress family withheld emergency funds for SNAP benefits, for the millions of Americans who are struggling to get by."
